Sakae Brewery is founded in the Edo period, Kansei 7 (1795), located in the castle town of Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
They proudly uphold traditional methods, using domestically sourced ingredients and wooden barrels for fermentation. This naturally brewed soy sauce matures for one and a half years in wooden barrels, developing a delicate fruity aroma within our historic brewery.
This soy sauce is then blended with natural citrus juice to craft our ponzu.
Free from artificial coloring, preservatives, and any additives, this is a truly pure product.
Ingredients : Soy sauce, brewed vinegar, mirin, sugar (brown sugar), bonito flakes, citrus juice (contains soy and wheat)
